What’s a girl like me to wear to a meeting which would directly be followed by a Ramen dinner date with her boyfriend? Something casual, something neutral, something chic.
I had to rush to a last minute meeting with a friend for something business related… So I threw on my denim distressed shorts (for a little bit of edge), my nude knitted pullover (for comfort), grabbed my handy dandy Blog Your Dreams clutch bag (for a pop of color & inspiration + all my blogging essentials are in it) and unboxed my new Memorata nude chunky heeled shoes (for lots and lots of chic power). I bought them because I knew I’d have to wear them to a meeting one of these days. And I was right ;-)

I’ll be honest with you, I’ve been a slacker in the fashion department lately. I chucked my love for high heels and settled for plimsolls, flats and my docs (not that those aren’t fashionable, just more rugged and laid back — not to mention heaps comfy!). So I’m really glad I was able to add Memorata into my shoe collection, because now I’ve got girl power heels to go with my wardrobe, especially in times I need it most (like business related meetings + dinner dates with the boyfriend)

After the meeting, Gab took me on a ramen dinner date at Kenji Tei. I’ve been loving ramen lately, ever since Gab took me to try my very first ramen at this restaurant (I forget the name) in Molito. I have a favorite ramen with beef + dark brown sauce but I can’t seem to remember the name. We ordered the wrong one at Kenji Tei, despite specifically describing the ramen we wanted to our waiter. He did say the soup was dark brown but it really wasn’t — the fact that it was miso based too. I should ask the chef next time. Nonetheless it was still good ramen.

With the heels on, I’m about almost as tall as Gab… He doesn’t like this (I don’t either. I prefer the guy to be heaps taller so I feel tiny and safe around him, haha!) , so I guess I’ll be wearing my other Memorata shoes on special dates instead ;-)
If you like these heels, you can check out the Memorata by CLN branches, and keep updated with them on their Facebook page :-)
